AURA Intelligence Architecture

AURA is the General Intelligence Core of the ACI architecture. It is NOT simply a wrapper around multiple APIs, nor is it claimed to be AGI or ASI. It is a strictly governed intelligence layer capable of handling multimodal inputs and tool use.

Core Capabilities

  • Text reasoning
  • Image understanding
  • Audio understanding
  • Video understanding
  • Tool use
  • Memory retrieval
  • Planning
  • Structured reasoning
  • Uncertainty representation
  • Multimodal grounding

Component Distinction

  • AURA Interface: The API boundary connecting AURA to NEXUS and GOVERNANCE.
  • AURA Model: The underlying neural weights (e.g., local LLMs, vision-language models).
  • AURA Orchestration: The prompt generation, chain-of-thought routing, and inference lifecycle.
  • AURA Memory: Context window management and working memory buffers.
  • AURA Tools: Executable functions exposed to the model (strictly evaluated via VEIL).

Evaluation Harness

A separate module will continuously evaluate AURA against a benchmark of disaster and civilization reasoning tasks to measure performance degradation or capability overhangs.
